Thread Cutting OIl

Thread Machine oil (thread making) lubricate & dissipate heat, from the tool and work piece and remove threading torsion during the threading process. They have good anti-weld properties to prevent the build-up of metal on the tool and good corrosion control qualities. The job of a good thread cutting oil is to maximize the yield of parts per tool, keeping the thread quality high and consistent. The best products have low viscosity, so that chips and contaminants flush easily away from the workpiece, control rancidity and leave parts and machines clean and free of sticky residue.
